Then from Home screen go to "Paper Settings" for tray 1, set to same paper, mine is "LTR/Plain1" . That worked after much frustration. All Macs are now on 11.2.1, but the issue has been occurring since Big Sur was released. Canon drivers/software have been updated as well.
