WebThe railway in the Model Village, Clonakilty, is G gauge scale and runs on live track 0-24 VDC. Each train is controlled by computer and run on a “first come first served” logic. The trains use electric motors with pick-up shoes that pick up the power from the track. Because of this the 500 metres of track has to be cleaned daily to remove tarnish.
