Crysis won't boot
WebFeb 23, 2013 · Trying to playing crysis 1 on pc via steam but I just get a black screen. I have to reset pc as it seems unable to do anything. I try crysis 2 it loads up I get video intro but then just goes black. I can get skynet menu that says profile or default I can press shift and ctrl to see gme stats... WebNov 13, 2024 · Try reinstall the game and try clearing cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out. Then wait another 30 and turn it on again. WebJul 5, 2012 · I've also downloaded the game and filled in my CD key via Origin and the game is "ready to play" so I attempt to launch it via Origin and nothing happens. It's as if it's launching but then nothing comes and I don't even see anything in the Task Manager. My system is perfectly capable of handling crysis 2. I know.

Went to the Crysis folder itself on my hard drive, went to Crysis > Bin64 then clicked on Crysis64.exe (the one I assumed I needed since I have Windows 64 bit) and got the same result as usual. Then I clicked on Crysis.exe, works like a charm.
