Normally when the mirror is sticking up on an older body it's because the foam seal/cushion around the bottom of the focus screen/fresnel lens has decayed and become sticky. But if that happen you can normally just unstick it with a fingernail. You say yours pops straight back up again though. WebJun 30, 2015 · During shipping more dust can be shaken loose. Every dslr I have bought, new or refurbished, had some dust spots at f16. Cleaning is not unusual. I can only imagine the issues with mirror less. Greg. I would think that mirrorless would be far simpler. There's no mirror and no focusing screen to smudge or collect dirt particles.
