WebJun 17, 2008 · I never put it in the refrigerator. There is enough sugar in it to prevent it from going bad. Besides, it makes it pour too slowly, and it makes my waffles cold. I keep the table syrup, corn syrup, and molasses in the cupboard, but I do keep the maple syrup in the fridge. For some reason it does say on the label to refrigerate after opening.
