WebApr 10, 2024 · I've written a lambda function to create a custom Cloudwatch Metric to display alarm states and it works as intended. I just assign a numerical value to the alarm state i.e. OK = 0 and IN ALARM = 1. The problem arises when I try to display these values, as querying or searching the metrics require an aggregate function: SUM, AVG, MIN etc. WebCreate an alarm for the existing Lambda function To create an alarm for an existing Lambda function, go to the Cloudwatch dashboard. Search for Cloudwatch in the search box at the top of the screen. You will see the overview screen of Cloudwatch as follows. Click on "Alarms" in the left panel.
