C52 was a bald eagle brought from Alaska to the area to reintroduce the species and has paved the way for conservation education ever since. WebPatoka Lake Visitor Center (Patoka Lake Nature Center) applied for a bald eagle permit with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in November. A month later, Patoka received the necessary permits from the federal and state agencies to utilize bald eagle C52 for educational programs.
